I reported problems a while back that when using shift x,n,i I didn't get X,N,I! Despite lots of friendly help from Splasm - still no joy!! As I type this shift x,n,i does work and also in Word and Excel.
Please could you give advice about saving my data and then clearing CheckBook COMPLETELY from my machine.
I could then re-install or would it be better to download a frsh version?
How do I get round registering the program if I do a fresh download?
ANY OTHER THOUGHTS?
Hope you can help!
Many thanks
tonyt

We're wondering if the issue is related to previously entered Descriptions and To/From items that contain lowercase characters. CheckBook matches the characters themselves, regardless of case, and changes the case of the just-entered items to match the case of the previously entered items.

Can you tell us whether you see these characters as uppercase as you type them, but they revert to lowercase when you leave the field or press the OK button?

Hi Keith
I can't type an initial capital X,I,N etc. AT ALL, if I try using shift - nothing happens! - these were typed using shift!
The only way I can get an initial capital in CheckBook is by using caps lock. Hope this helps?!?
