I compile post race(motocross) interviews each week into a single mp3 file which is delivered to an audience via an RSS feed. If I begin delivering them in AAC format, I'm going to be lynched.

This app is the perfect time saver but please, MP3 export?

I'll still use the app but it would be incredibly cool to not have the added step of exporting to mp3.

The problem with Mp3's is that they don't support chapters markers or chapter art, so a lot of the advantage of making and organizing an audiobook are lost.

We do have mp3 output on our request list though. If we did support it, it would be more or less merging your audio according to your part settings, with no chapter markers included.

I wanted to second this feature. I've got several old audiobooks in MP3 format that aren't divided into files based on chapters. For example, I have a book in 10 MP3's and the book has 18 chapters.

What I used to do was use AudialHub to merge them all into one file and then use AudioSlicer to find the chapter gaps and split the large audio file into 18 MP3's (1 per chapter). Then Audiobook Builder would build me a nice chapterized audiobook.

The problem is that AudialHub doesn't work with OS X Lion and AudioSlicer only supports MP3's. I would like to use Audiobook Builder to join all the files into one large MP3, then I could split it with AudioSlicer and then re-join it with Audiobook Builder.

I know it's a mess, but I can't think of any alternatives...
