I've just updated to the latest version of Audiobook builder and now the program won't add any files to the builder. I've tried both drag and drop from finder and itunes and using the add file buttons. The dialogue box that says Adding file(s) appear with a status bar but it never starts making any progress.

Any tips? Is there anywhere to get an older build to try if that works?

Appreciates any help I can get.

(Also, I'm running on an old macbook with OS 10.4)

There was a few cases where our updates to fix a few issues weren't propagated throughout the last build. If you try updating again through the application or download it again from our website, you should get a newer build that should fix your issue. Let us know if this helps!

I've been trying to update it again but with no results, I've tried both the 1.2.5 version and the build 2 and restarting the computer after the installations but with no results. Any other ideas?

Its beginning to sound like an issue we haven't run into yet. Can you reproduce your issue and then create a system profiler report just after and send it to us? Heres how:

1. Get Audiobook Builder to fail again.

2. Open /Applications/Utilities/System Profiler.app.

3. Go to the File menu and select the Save option. Make sure you save the report to a place where you can find it, such as your Desktop.

4. Drag the saved report file to an email message to the address support@splasm.com

Update on your issue:

We were able to locate the issue, and it was only affecting those that are running 10.4. We have updated to 1.2.5 build 3 to push these changes out, so if you check for updates you should get a new version.
