I have just paid for this very helpful app, and found this suggestion on page 20 in the manual.

Quote:
Audiobook Builder stores a copy of every audio file you import from CD, drag from the
Finder or add from iTunes in the Project document itself. That’s a lot of storage when you’re
working with lengthy Audiobooks so free up space by trashing Project documents when
they’re no longer necessary.

This sounds like an excellent suggestion.

Where do I look for the project documents ?

The easiest way to find where your project documents have been saving, is start a new project and in the save dialog, look to where the default location is. You will probably find your other projects there.

A common place for these to be located would be your documents folder in your user's home folder.

Randy,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

My default is save new projects to the desktop.

That way they are easy to find and easy clean up :)

What about the "Audiobook Builder" Playlist ?

(1) It has a 'Music' icon to the left. Shouldn't it have a 'Books' icon ?

(2) Would I free up space on my harddrive if I deleted the Audiobook playlist ?

The Audiobook Builder playlist is just a regular playlist to keep track of books built within Audiobook Builder. The books listed inside are merely pointers to the original files in your library, so these book listings to not take up any extra space.
