So I've long been using Audiobook Builder with my Fourth Generation iPod. But when I transfer them on to my new iPod Shuffle, they don't play. I can play them in iTunes from the Nano, but the moment I disconnect the Nano from my MacBook and plug in my headphones it doesn't work. The Nano recognizes the audiobooks. I can scroll to them, but unlike the 4th Gen iPod, which goes to a single audiobook file, the Nano audiobook breaks them into disks and doesn't play them.

Help? How can I make these a single audiobook file and make them play on the Nano?

OK. I found another thread at another site and resolved the issue. I had installed Nike+ on the Nano and that apparently threw things into a loop. If you're having the same issue, simply reset your Nano by pressing the middle button and Menu button at the same time until the Apple logo appears. That resolved it for me.

nice detective work! We appreciate you getting back with a solution so other users can benefit from your research. We do not use a nano with nike + in our standard testing so I doubt we would have run across this issue ourselves.
