I'm trying to supply my CPA with an export of my register entries for the year 2018 but it looks like I can't supply a date range.

Is there some hidden way to do this? What is the date range used by the Export function?

Thank you.

To select the Date Range, you can use a Search Option—just click the magnifying glass symbol inside the Search field at the top of the window, to get started. Then, using the Current Search Results Export option will have you set.

Oh my gosh! I can't believe I forgot about this question. :(

Thank you, Allan, for your reply. The next time I export I'll try as you instructed.

Sincerely,
Mel

Another way (my favorite) is to make annual Smart Folders for my accounts. All of my accounts get these folders. Then, just select the folder you want, select File > Export > Text or CSV (or QIF) save to the location of your choice, and you are done. Your accounts will be in neat, annual folders in the drawer on the right.

Super suggestion, @t3rockhall.

I'll give that a try as well.
