Hi,
Iv'e successfully imported one new OFC file account into CB Pro, but when I attempt to import another OFC account as below:

With the new account opened in CB Pro…> accounts .> go to account > new account > file. > import > OFX > click statement > import > The required file is not shown in the Import Options Import Account Drop down Box, only the previously imported file.

Any help and advice much appreciated.
Barny

If you are open to the account into which you want to import a file:

Menu bar: File>Import>OFX or QFX> a Finder box will open and you need to navigate to where the file you want to import is. It may not be in the same place as the previously imported file. CBP remembers the last place in the Finder from where you previously imported a file, so you need to navigate to where the new file is.

Hello and thank you for your response.

I am doing as you advise above and the import works but for some reason there's a discrepancy between the on line bank statement value being downloaded, and the received downloaded bank statement value which is approx 17% less.

Any ideas much appreciated.

regards

Hi.

I've only imported from another finance app, not from my bank statements. So, unfortunately I am afraid I am of no help. Check to make sure that your reconciled entries in CBP match those of your bank statement. Sometimes the glitch is just a simple one.

Sorry I'm not of more help here.

Hi,

Importing banks statements is straight forward, It's just that 17% of the entries are missing and sometimes duplicated 5 times. And I can't finish the import manually either.
