Yep, we do have one in the works called MoneyBug, but work on CheckBook 2.5 must be completed first in order for MoneyBug to sync with it. We are busy splitting out major features of 2.5 into subsequent updates to keep 2.5 from getting too large. 2.2 was released with major overhauls to splits, and 2.3 will have some major tweaks to our reconciliation, leaving 2.5 with a database update and syncing as its major feature.

Thanks for the interest and forum post!

Did anything ever happen with this? If an iPhone version of Checkbook Pro came out, I would be happy to pay a premium app price for it! A lot has happened in the last couple of years to make syncing easier (namely, Dropbox).

As is, love the Mac app and am grateful for the great support offered by the team here.

Thanks again!

Is an iphone app still on the table. I'm extremely interested in Checkbook but must be able to enter quick purchase data on the go that I can go back to on my new macbook air later and reconcile. This would be SOOOO useful. Please respond, thank you.

Yep, it's still on the table! We're no longer throwing out projected release dates but it's very much in the works. Hang in there!

The iPhone version of CheckBook is very much in the works—finishing it up is actually our primary focus right now. We hope to be able to provide an update on a possible release date before the year is out!

Unfortunately, no, the app hasn't shipped yet but we're still working very hard on it. Thanks for hanging in there!

I've come to accept that I will probably die (i'm closing in on 76) before this app is released. A simple spreadsheet solution may work for the traveler, though. While traveling, enter checks in a spreadsheet on your ipad, then import the data into CBP when you return to your computer. Surely, someone can put this together without too much trouble.

have been a CBP user since '08 and have watched the subject of a mobile version of this fine product be discussed in this forum for some years now, always with the comments from Splasm product management that a "mobile version is in the works".

Seems like publishing a date when a mobile version will be available, that is reflective of the product roadmap that we must assume Splasm is working from, would be a reasonable thing to expect.

Comments welcome.

Maybe they're too busy writing spam filters. Not.

Oh crap. Now we have to wait til the Fall for Yosemite and iOS8. Hit the snooze alarm, 'cuz we're going to spend another 6 months in bed. By the time this product hits, even the Viagra won't help.
Zzzzzz

P.s. This thread is almost three years old.

Two years later, is it still the primary focus? I mean, really? Frankly, it's hard to believe that it really ever was.
