Anybody else think it would be useful ?

I've got quite a few saved summaries that I use for month end and ad-hoc reporting, and use the Notes box to add comments, for example, where an amount has varied from the budgeted sum.

It'd be really useful to have a check box option to include Notes on summary reports

We could certainly see plenty of folks finding that useful, so we're happy to look at adding support for a feature like that to a future version. Thanks!
