There's the Unresolved Search Option for those cases when you want to view just un-cleared items—activate that by clicking the magnifying glass symbol inside the Search field up top and then clicking where it says "Unresolved". Or, you can move Unresolved entries to the top of the register by clicking the Resolved column header once or twice, this being the rectangle up above the Resolved checkboxes that has a permanent checkmark in it.
