Most of my notes come from downloads and are gibberish. It becomes tedious to delete each one, one by one, because of the need to open Change Entry..., switch to the Note tab, select the text, and then delete. It is fine to have that separate tab so that users can continue adding one individualized note at a time, if that is what they want to do. However, please also add a Notes field on the main page/tab of Change Entry... so that users can either batch delete all notes for selected items (i.e. by leaving the notes field blank) or batch add a note to selected items (by putting text in the note field).

IMHO, the best place for the Note field on the Change Entry... dialog window would be right below the Description field. This would cause some overlap or redundancy with the Note tab/page. However, if such a Note field were added below Description, perhaps it could be called "Quick Note" to distinguish from the longer notes more suitable for entry on the separate note tab/page.

If a Note or Quick Note field is added below Description, there would be a risk that users might check the box in front of Note or Quick Note, but not enter text, in order to delete notes, but without realizing that they have a long, important note hidden out of sight (and out of mind) on the separate note tab/page. One solution might be not to have a Note or Quick Note field below Description, but instead to add a checkbox - active only when multiple transactions are selected - labeled "Delete notes from all selected transactions" on the separate Note tab/page. If this approach were followed, I would put the new checkbox above the large text window on the separate note tab/page. This would require two more steps for batch delete, but it would be an acceptable tradeoff for the safer design.

Great program!

If you double click the entry with your cursor in the note field, the entry opens to the notes tab. That saves a few keystrokes.
