This gets me every time I use CheckBook.

The keyboard short cut for deposits is: "Command =" (which also has a "+" on the key) I think of this as command add. What frustrates me is that I can not use "command +" using the "+" on the numeric keypad to the right of the alpha keys. The only way "command =" makes sense is that it is easier than "command shift =" to get to that "+" sign.

Could you add the ability to do "command (numeric pad) +" ?

Thanks,
That was fast.

Looking forward to 1.6.2

Now if there was just some way to tab into the type box when entering transactions, and then select a type with the keyboard, I could stop going mouse keyboard, mouse keyboard for each transaction (I tend to enter several at a time).

Try Full keyboard access, which extends the Mac's original tab behavior by including popup buttons (like CheckBook's Types button/menu), radio buttons, checkboxes, regular buttons and more. The controls for the Full keyboard access setting are at the bottom of the Keyboard & Mouse preference pane's Keyboard Shortcuts tab, in System Preferences. Flip it to "All controls" and you should be able to tab between almost every interface item in most applications.
