I set up a monthly scheduled debit transfer from my checking account to credit card account. But when I commit the transaction the credit card does not render the transaction but the checking account does. What am I doing wrong?
Debit
Type: Transfer
To: Credit Card Name
Category: [My credit card account]

It'll be necessary to click "To" and select "To Account", in its place, to trigger an actual Transfer. Then, the To field will become a menu button you can use to select the second Account involved in the Transfer.

Still could not get the checking account transfer to render to the credit card account after adding the name of the credit card account in the To field when doing a scheduled transfer.

On your attachment, you selected "To" and not "To Account"--not sure if that would be it, but I'd try. Hope this helps. Click on the drop down next to the "To" arrow.

HelpNeeded is right. Clicking "To" and choosing "To Account" still needs to happen.
