Hi All & HNY!

Since it's tax time-ish, I'm noticing the Search totals are not adding up. See example. Could be user error, but...

In the example, the 'Search Total' is showing $5,213.61 when the total is actually $4,238.71.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure on this, but your numbers on the spreadsheet appear to have "." and "," reversed? $1.800,00 instead of $1,800.00? Since the total in your post has them in same format I would use here in US, thought it may be a clue.

Interesting, I use both Euros and Dollars and for Euros, they use the ',' as a decimal.

I was wondering about that. Please let us know if you find the reason. The other thing that came to my mind is whether it was including extra items which were accidentally marked?

The Search Total is getting converted to the Base Currency, which appears to be USD, because the All Accounts option is selected. Try going up to click the Account menu at the top of the screen, sliding down to hover over "Edit All Accounts", and clicking "Currency", then you'll see where you can change the Base Currency. (Basically, the Base Currency needs to be set to Euro if you'd like your Search Total to be expressed in that alternate Currency.)

I too have a Euro account, and found it rather inconvenient to have decimal and thousands separators displayed in "European style".

However, the solution is very simple - go to: Account | Edit All Accounts | Currencies - then click on € EUR and change decimal and thousands separators to "normal" :D
