To get CheckBook setup on any new Mac, the easiest option is usually to copy a backup over along with the application itself—supposing you’re using the latest version already, that is. Otherwise, to ensure compatibility with the new Mac, it’d be best to install a fresh copy of the latest version of the application by visiting our site at https://www.splasm.com/checkbook/update ... plasmstore and following the directions below where it says "Splasm Store Users".

To save the backup of your data when the time comes, open CheckBook on your current computer, go to the File menu at the top of the screen, and select the Backup menu option. The resulting file can be double-clicked to get it opened up on the new Mac, in the end. Also, you'll need to validate with your serial at first launch—if you don't know your serial number, you can visit our site at https://www.splasm.com/support/premay20 ... lookup.php to find a tool that'll help with retrieving it.
