When removing an account using the Account>Remove Account menu, will records of the transfers to/from it in other accounts be retained in those accounts?

If not, is there a work-around?

Transfer entries aren't ever removed automatically from an account even when the other account involved in the transfer is deleted. It's just the connection to the removed account will become severed, essentially.

Thanks, Allan. Early on I deleted an account by some non-standard means (maybe as simplistic as choosing and deleting all entries!) which didn't work so elegantly. Luckily it was early on in my import from Quicken 2007, so I could simply resume the import.

Checkbook Pro is truly elegant. And I see that export in QIF format is supported in 2.6.20!
