All was correct up to 27 April. On the 28th any entry results in a completely incorrect balance. For example: Balance on 27 April is £887.73.

Enter a debit of £100 on 28 April and the balance shown is £714.24.

Or

Enter a deposit of £100 on 28 April and the balance then shown is £914.24

Thereafter, all deposits/debits are correctly shown in relation to the balance of £714.24/£914.24 and continue erroneously into, and presumably beyond, 1 May . . . .

The similarity in the incorrect balances on 28 Apr is interesting. Any ideas?

Regards,

Alan

If some entries are hidden inside an account, the Balance can begin to look off because there will be seemingly random balance shifts explained only by the hidden items. So, you might try clearing Search Options (which can cause certain entries to be hidden) by going up to click inside the white Search field at the top of the main window, then clicking the magnifying glass symbol found within the field and selecting the Clear All Search Options menu item. Also, if you're using the Pro version, you'll want to be sure no Folder or Smart Folder is selected by clicking once over the Account's name, where it shows in the Accounts drawer.

Thanks Allan,

Clear All Search Options did the trick!
