Hi I am running OSX Big Sur 11.3 with checkbook 2.6.17(636).... and am having ongoing problems opening checkbook,it works a couople of times then will not open unless I restart my Macbook

We're not seeing any issues using CheckBook 2.6.17 on Big Sur 11.3 here. But, if an error message comes up the next time you have a problem opening the application, can you take a screenshot and send the image over to us at support@splasm.com? We may also want to get a look at a System Information report and recent system logging, but we can include the steps for gathering those details in a reply to your email, if the error doesn't give us enough to go on.

Thanks for the swift response....I dont get any error messages I am just unable to open & as per initial post have to restart to be able to use check book thanks

In that case, can you get the issue to occur and then generate a System Information report, immediately after? You can create one of these reports by going up to click the Apple menu at the top of the screen while holding down the Option key on your keyboard, clicking System Information..., and then choosing Save... from the File menu once the System Information window shows. Attach the resulting file to an email message to us at support@splasm.com and we’ll be able to check for any behind-the-scenes errors being logged.
