| Post subject: | Hide Accounts in Account Drawer? |
I have several old accounts. I won't access them again unless I'm audited. Is there a way to hide or ghost them in the Account Drawer? I know I can copy and paste them into a file folder, but that seems a risk for lost or corrupted files. Any other suggestions? |

I just labeled them CLOSED (name) and dragged them to the bottom of the Accounts drawer. |

There's no option for fully hiding accounts away, at this time, though that's something we hope to support in a future version. If you create a backup, though, and give that backup a name like "Old Accounts" (so it's easy to tell it apart from your primary document), it would then be safe to delete the old accounts from your main file—there's no risk of corrupting your data, going this route. Just go to the File menu at the top of the screen and select the Backup menu option when you're ready to save the backup. Also, anytime you wish to view the accounts, you can double-click the backup. |
