I imported my checking and savings accounts. They were reconciled in my previous software but do not appear to be reconciled here.

How do I get the "Unresolved" and "Unreconciled" numbers to clear out and only show what is truly pending?

Do I need to put my account starting balance at zero and click all those boxes from the beginning of time? Would that work? Is there a better way?

Thank you.

The Unresolved amount is the total of all entries that haven't yet been marked as Resolved (checked-off), so Resolving everything would help with clearing that. To get that done very quickly, head the Reconcile section, click one entry, go to the Edit menu at the top of the screen, select the Select All menu option, and then click the Resolve button at the top of the main window.

As for the Unreconciled amount, that's the difference between the Statement Balance and Resolved Balance, so the best way to clear that value, considering you're saying everything was Reconciled previously in another program, may be to simply type what you see in the Resolved Balance bubble into the Statement Balance field. You can then click Reconcile to complete your initial Reconciliation.
