Corruption is rare, but we can check for signs of damage to your document if you'll send recent system logs to us at support@splasm.com. To gather the logs, open the application, go to the Help menu while holding down the Option key on your keyboard, click the Go to System Logs Folder menu item to be taken to the logs folder, then send each item whose name begins with the word “system”.

Also, to verify for sure whether an entry has changed since it was input, you could look at an automatic backup from around the time the entry was added. Automatic backups can be found after going to the Help menu while holding down the Option key on your keyboard and clicking the Go to CheckBook 2 Folder menu item, then accessing the Backups folder found within CheckBook 2.
