After updating CheckbookPro (2.6.11) on my MacBook OS 10.14.6, all my information is gone and I face a blank register page. How do I get my register information back?

True data loss is rare with CheckBook Pro. So, let's see if it’s just that the application needs to be told to open your usual document again by going straight to the File menu at the top of your screen, sliding down to Open Recent, then clicking each file in the list to see if the accounts appear.

Supposing the Open Recent option doesn’t help, restoring with one of CheckBook Pro's automatically created backups should be an option for recovery. We can help locate the best backup to use, if you’ll send recent system logs to us at support@splasm.com. To gather the logs, open CheckBook Pro, go to the Help menu while holding down the Option key on your keyboard, click the Go to System Logs Folder menu item to be taken to the logs folder, then send each item whose name begins with the word “system”.
