I have an iPad and checkbook was fine until this morning noticed double entries for non reoccurring entries and won’t let me delete them. Can’t find a delete or remove button.

Our CheckBook application runs only on the Mac platform. Since you're on an iPad, what you could be using is an app called “Checkbook” (spelled with a lowercase B) made by another developer called Appxy. If you Google "Appxy CheckBook", you should be able to find a way to get in touch with their support team for help.
