When I check for updates from within Checkbook, it tells me that I have the latest version which shows as 2.5.7. However, your websites states that the latest version is 2.6.4. Why the difference? My copy was purchased from your store not the Mac App Store. Does that mean my license has somehow expired, or can I download 2.6.4 and apply my license to it?

I am away from my computer at the present, so cannot tell you what version I have, but I have always updated when newer versions arise. Your registration should work fine with the latest version, I believe. I cannot remember the last time they charged for an update, but it was a long time ago.

Bump.

I have the exact same problem. MY version number shows as 2.5.7 and up to date and differs from the website version of 2.6.x


Additionally for the past several weeks, I have been experiencing several problems where checkbookpro just hangs. I may be able to commit one or two transactions and then it hangs and, to make things worse, it makes my system not able to restart. I have to hard boot even after force quitting Checkbook Pro.

I ran all the updates out of the app store (several system ones) and hope that makes a difference in the latter problem. I'll create a new post in the forum if I continue to have problems.

I really would like to get on the 64-bit version before something stops working..

I had this problem too, Checkbook Pro was showing v 2.5.7 and clicking 'Check for updates' showed it was up to date.

Only checked today when I opened CB Pro and the Mac gave a message that "This app will not work with future OS X updates - contact the developer".

I then checked the downloads page to find current version is 2.6.7! Something wrong with the check update function?
