Has anyone been successful in printing personal checks?
I've tried, unsuccessfully, to create a template to no avail.
The interface is clunky and confusing.

Guess I'll continue using iFinance 4 to do this (print on personal checks) unless something changes.

I love everything else about Checkbook Pro. I just wish that check printing were as easy and seamless as it is on iFinance 4.

Hi AJ!

The template editor built into CheckBook Pro isn't really ready for prime time - it was originally just a quick and dirty way for us to create the standard templates that come with CheckBook Pro and is awaiting a bit of a redesign. We did use the template editor to create the custom template file we sent you through email at the end of November, the one with the Harland Clark personal check template, though. Did you get a chance to try that template? There's a potential variance in the date field position, but other than that we seem to be able to test print fine here on a variety of Harland Clark stock.

I did not get the email with the custom template. Would you send it again?

How about a way to save addresses for customers/clients/payees (i.e. the "TO" accounts) and provide a way to print them on checks when they are selected from the "TO" list. This would permit using window envelopes with those printed checks.
Seems like an obvious and high priority fix for your check printing function. It is the only piece missing for my transition from Quickbooks to Checkbook Pro. JK

It's in the works, JK! We've had several requests to add check addressing to CheckBook Pro so we've been working out the details and hope to have a pre-release build available for a few testers soon. If you'd like to give it a try let us know!

How does one get to the template editor?

The spacing on the 3-up wallet checks does not match my check stock (or any other stock I've purchased recently). It's not just a question of alignment; I need the lines to be spaced further apart.

Thanks.
