I am finally going to upgrade from Tiger to Loepard. I have Checkbook Pro Tiger edition. Will my licence cover me for the Leopard version AND if if it does will the .plist file from the Tiger backup work with the Leopard version?

CheckBook Pro works on both Tiger and Leopard without any changes needed. The accounts, application and preferences can all be copied over and used on either system. If you use iLife and iWork, you may want to consider purchasing Apple's new Mac Box set bundle which includes leopard, iLife 09 and the new iWork for $169.

That ships in late January but if you are interested in either iLife or iWork and are purchasing Leopard anyway, it may be worth a look.
