I am switching from Quicken for Windows (on a Dell PC) to Checkbook on my Mac. So far I'm happy with Checkbook, only needing basic checkbook register-type functions. How do I create (and print) a "transaction report" like I am used to in Quicken?
Thanks.

In CheckBook, all reporting options are found in the Summary section, which is accessed by clicking the Summary button at the bottom of the main window. For a transaction report, you'd likely want to create a custom Summary and that's done by clicking the New button at the top of the Summary section. If a transaction report is one that lists all transactions being reported-on, then you may just need to select the 'Entry Details' Style option. Supposing that doesn't give you what you're after, describe what else is included in Quicken's transaction report and the corresponding options in CheckBook can be pointed out.

Also, to print any Summary, you'd just want to have the Summary selected and then choose 'Print...' from the File menu at the top of the screen.
