Has anyone found a good way to enter pending electronic payment of transactions in the register that makes it easy to merge the information when you do a download from the bank? Transaction notes are important to me.
Example: I make an epayment thru my bank for a bill and record the bill as a debit transaction in the register a paid to Northern Star Diagnostic Lab Inc for amount 175.00 and use the note field remind my self that it was for blood work done on 10/15/2014 as ordered by Dr Smith. Some time later a transaction will show up with a different date, a faintly recognizable payee and of course no notes, tho' the amount will match.

Is copying and pasting the only way to get the full Payee and my notes into the downloaded transaction? The notes I find are often really important.

This is also true of paper checks tho' not using them much anymore.....

Thank you!

Unfortunately, copying and pasting the Notes and To/From information between the Entries may be the only option. The idea to add some sort of merge option is interesting, so we perhaps we'll look into that as a possible feature to add later.

One thing I have done that helps is add a transaction type called "pending" which makes it a little easier to match transactions up after a download...For what its worth.
