Is there a way of tagging particular categories as "tax deductible" or making one entry out of a split entry tax deductible. I only seem to be able to make whole entries tax deductible.

Also do you have a budgeting module?

As of now, there isn't a way to make a split line item tax deductible. We are considering adding that feature in a future update. We also don't have a strict budget managing module within CheckBook. Other users as well as myself tend to use a lot of scheduled entries, then use the scheduled sheet with the look ahead feature to catch snapshots of what our balances will be at any point in the future. It gives you an idea of how much money you have available tomorrow or even what you might have 10 years from now.
