I am using OS10.4.2 and Checkbook 1.5.1.
When using the date picker for inputting several debits the days date is highlighted for the first entry. From the second entry on the date picker highlights the year! This means cursoring back to change the days date for every other entry than the first one. Is there a way to force the date picker to highlight the days date each time? It would save a lot of correcting odd dates!
Many thanks

You've found a side-effect we caught very late in the CheckBook 1.5.1 development cycle. 1.5.1 was practically out the door and we didn't have a good opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue. The fix is coming in a few weeks as part of CheckBook 1.5.2.

The details:

The date picker is based on Apple's NSDatePicker class, which has no method for setting the focus to a specific date component. The date picker is not recreated each time the Entry sheet is opened, so its state is exactly the same from use to use. That means the last selected date component will still be selected the next time you use the date picker. With some time and experimentation we found a reasonable workaround that reliably re-selects the first date component. It should work as expected in CheckBook 1.5.2.
