Just upgraded to 2.5.2. I am running Mountain Lion on my MacBook Pro. I am trying to enter a debit but I keep getting the 'bonk' sound and New Debit under the menu is grayed out. I can do enter a new deposit but I really need to enter my debits-I have far more debits than deposits! Help is needed. Thank you for any tips, Judy

Is it possible that you're in All Accounts? To enter new data, you'll want to be sure you're in an individual Account. For that, choose the Account's name from the Accounts drawer (if you don't see the drawer, hit the Accounts button in the top right corner to open it back up).

Oh, ok. I didn't see an Accounts drawer and when I clicked on the Accounts button in the upper right corner, nothing happened. BUT I did go up to the menu and under Account I was able to open my bank account. Thank you for getting back to me. Judy

It's great to hear that you were able to get out of All Accounts, one way or the other. One thing that might explain the Accounts drawer not showing up when you hit the Accounts button would be if your main window is in full-screen mode. Supposing you'd like to make the Accounts drawer visible for moving forward, try going up to the Window menu at the top of the screen and choosing 'Show Accounts'—if this option doesn't show and instead 'Hide Accounts' does, do nothing. After that, hit the green Maximize bubble in the top left corner of the window (this appears near the red bubble used for closing the window) and everything will still fill your screen but with the Accounts drawer made visible.

Yes, that did the trick! I had it open to full screen and therefore couldn't see the drawer. Thank you!!! Have a nice weekend! Judy
