My balance column is in the red even though it is a positive balance.
Every time I make an entry for a check the balance turns red, rather then staying green if the balance is positive.

How can I make my positive balance green.

Colors are based on Debit and Credit entries. The default is Red and Green, respectively. Colors are not based on the account balance. You can change the colors in the preferences, but only for Debit entries and Credit entries. you cannot change the color based on the account balance.
