I have one Scheduled money transfer set up once a month on the 10th, I run CheckBook almost every day.

On the 10th the Scheduled transfer does not happen, it sometime takes 4-5 days before it tells me and then moves the values between the two accounts.

Why the delay?

My first guess would be that it's because CheckBook's Schedule Reminder is Account-specific and won't appear until you select the Account that contains the Schedule. If the Schedule for the 10th is set up in an Account that you enter every few days it would follow that the Schedule Reminder could appear a few days late. We will address this with a global Schedule Reminder in CheckBook 2.0.

Thanks for the reply, now I know how it works I shall check how and when I have viewed the accounts to see if I can get it to show a pattern.

And I look forward to a version 2 !!! is it to early to say but when may this be out?

Regards

It's still a bit early to say. We just finished basic OFX bank, credit card and loan statement support yesterday, though. Just a few more major features like that and we're all set.
