Since I purchased my license for the trial version of checkbook pro and registered it all my new entries are real faded compared to the previous ones I had entered.I can barley make them out and cannot figure out how to correct this have went into preferences and made darker but that did nothing to the entries that are so faded, have not made any new ones since as I have no others to put in as yet.

the entries are "faded" for items whose dates have not yet come. On the day the entry becomes current, the information will be fully dark. I think this is what you're referring to.

In Checkbook Preferences there is a slider to control the density of future items. Move it to the right until you are happy with the result.
