Hi

I got your Software off the Mac Format Disk here in sunny Britain :D.

The software looks good, but my Bank will only let me download my statement in .CSV . Any ideas on how to get this into CheckBook?

Glad to see you're enjoying the Special Edition!

A web search turns up some command line scripts, but an easier method may be QIF Master, a Mac OS X application that is advertised as capable of converting CSV to QIF. QIF Master is available at http://www.thewoodwards.us/sw/QIFMaster/index.shtml. General reviews indicate the software works well but requires some effort to get the results you need.

We've had a delimited text import engine half-cooked on the backburner here for some time and didn't realize there was still some demand for it with QIF still in the mainstream and OFX/QFX gaining fast. In the short to mid term we need to focus on the latter. Any chance your online bank is moving to OFX/QFX in the near future?
