Whilst this sort of thing can be done with free tools, I'm willing to pay for something to get the job done well and your software is not pricey and does a good job.

Here's some things I noticed that would benefit the app:

  • Allow multiple projects open at the same time. I've got the whole Bible on MP3, and I'm converting it into Audiobooks for each book of the Bible. I'd like to be able to start prepping the next book, whilst the previous one is rendering.
  • Automatic pattern-based Chapter naming. The MP3 files I'm working with are named like "Genesis 020". I want the bookmark names in the Audio book to be "Chapter 20". So far, I'm having to manually rename each bookmark. I'd like to be able to name all the chapters automatically, by specifying a pattern, like "Chapter %d"
  • When rendering, the Audiobook window does not work with Exposé. It just vanishes :(

Many thanks for this great piece of software!
I found out about it from this article here http://ember999.wordpress.com/2008/07/1 ... -your-mac/ also, by searching "Audiobook" on iusethis.com

You can do the first thing in an unofficial way (it does work, I use it a a lot, no problems thus far):
simply duplicate the application, and start both (or more depending on how many you want to do simultaneously) and make sure that you use a different project file for each application (otherwise they will conflict with eachother).
