Hi there,
first I want to thank you for your wonderful program!
But I do have some recommendations which could improve Audiobook Builder just another bit:
I wanted to use the .abbuilder files to backup my audiobooks, because it stores the original files (mostly .mp3 files), but Audiobook Builder removes the ID3-tags of the mp3 files.
Why don't you leave the input files untouched?
I don't want to keep the .m4b files because they seem a bit to "inflexible" to me...
Is it possible to add a kind of library of all .abbuilder files? It would also be nice if one could add more "meta-data" to the project files, such as
- Speaker
- Year of production
- original title
- translated by
- ISBN
- short description (blurb)
- maybe user-defined fields?
- some more pictures/scans
I know those information can't be implemented into the final .m4b file (or is that possible?), but I'd like the idea of having everything sorted and organized.
It would also be nice if Audiobook Builder would search for an appropriate cover on the web (amazon, google...) just like
MPFreaker does for normal music files.
Another thing concerning the process of importing files into a project:
If I drag&drop several folders into the project window, could the contents of the folders automatically be joined?
If one imports files, which match somehow (for example like the following example, could the chapters be joined automatically?
- Chapter 1 - Part 1.mp3
- Chapter 1 - Part 2.mp3
- Chapter 2 - Part 2.mp3
(...)
One last thing:
Could you enable renaming chapter entries by pressing the Return key, just like you do when renaming in Finder ?
Thanks in advance,
Peter
