I often use AB to transfer CD audio books borrowed from my local Library (making sure to delete the book when I return the borrowing, of course!).

Anyhow, many of these CDs are beaten up (the Librarian told me the average life of a popular title is barely six months!). It seems AB is not so good at detecting or warning of rip errors - a bad rip gets merrily encoded, sometimes leading to a frustrating 30 or more seconds of garbled audio.

It would be great to improve the error detection and/or correction.

Thanks,
Ben
