Hello,

Here my wish list to enhance this great product:

- Automatic import of a directory with subdirectories, making each subdir a chapter (joining all files in the respective su dir)
- After importing a lot of files, joining always N files and label them Part 1, Part 2, ... (or joining as many files each as it takes to fill X minutes per chapter)
- Ability to auto-number chapters
- Ability to use tags as chapter names auto automatically

That is it!

Cheers,
Mercator

Let me just add something that I'd like to see in the next release.

The ability to add the Long Description meta tag. In case you wonder, it's the tag that let's iTunes show a small (i) icon at the end of the Description field. You can store much more text in there than in the Description tag, which iTunes crops after a number of characters.

Cheers, Manuel

Hi

After more than 6 years still no auto-number of chapters?
And the batch mode is still missing too.
Or the ability to build more than one book at time with more than one instance.
And suppot of more than one core....

Your app is not free and can not more than a free one?

regards
Stephan

All the suggestions on this thread are good ones that we can look into.

There's already a batch rename option that makes it easy to have chapters numbered. To use the option, select multiple chapters and then choose 'Rename...' from the Audiobook menu at the top of the screen. If you drag the 'Chapter #' token into the field, you'll find that all chapters are numbered automatically.

As for batch processing for projects and multi-core support, those are features that are already slated for Audiobook Builder version 2. To build multiple projects simultaneously now, though, it's possible to duplicate the application and have the multiple copies open and running with different projects.
