I too have a question about splitting chapters. I have been loading about 3 disks per project. Each one I have loaded as individual files. So in the menu you would see Chapter 1 (in red) and then all the individual small files and then Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 each with the individual files. I want to just split the overall disks (chapters) not all of those small 3 min. files. How do I do that? As of right now when I build the project it loads as a single entity about 3 hours long. I want to be able to see where Disk 1 starts and then break for Disk 2 and Disk 3. Is the problem that I loaded everything as individual files? Should I load Disk 1 as a single file and then Disk 2 as single file in the same project and then split them? Would that then show the break on my ipod between disk 1 and 2?

Thanks for any help. I love the software and it has saved me a ton of $$$$. Now I'm just trying to streamline how I use it.

Audiobook Builder automatically puts all files from a CD in the same chapter. When you build, all the files within a chapter will merge and you will not see file breaks between those files. So by default, you should see 3 chapters in your 3 hour book, one chapter per CD.

Importing as individual files allows you to split a CD into more than 1 chapter if you wish. If you bring in a CD as a single file, you cannot split it up.
