I convinced a fellow audiophile to purchase Audiobook Builder so we could share files we build. Both of us have version 1.0.11. The problem is that each time she opens one of my ("unbuilt") ABB files, the program crashes "unexpectedly" when she clicks "Build Audiobook". I know I could just share the built files themselves, but I'm trying to figure out why this won't work, since it would be more convenient.

Any advice/suggestions? Is there something I should be troubleshooting in her setup?

Thanks so much!

One thing you can check is that you didn't add any single files over 12 hours in length to the project. That can cause Audiobook Builder to crash when you try to build. If you've built the same project on yours and it didn't crash, you may want to make sure she has at least os x 10.4 installed, and her QuickTime is up to date.

Let us know if you find out anymore details.

I definitely do not add any single files that are 12 hours long. And I have the max part length set to about 6 hours, never with any problems up till now (I've processed well over 200 books, all unabridged). I will check with her on the OSX and QT versions she's using. Hopefully an update or two will solve the problem. Bottom line, then, is that I should be able to give her the unbuilt files that were made on my Mac with my copy of ABB?
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll let you know the outcome.

Yes, you should be able to exchange project files and finish the builds on each other's computers.
