Sometimes, when I am in the midst of loading a CD, the app "hangs up"... I'm using a Mac, and get the flying pizza. Usually, it stays hung up, and I have to force quit. When I do that, of course, I lose the whole CD I've loaded up to that point.

Why does this happen? FYI, I am cleaning each CD before I load it.

Is there any way Audiobuilder can be told to "stop", so it saves the chapters from the CD that it has already loaded? Then I could eject the CD, clean it again, and re-insert it.

Any help would be HUGELY appreciated. Of the twelve books I've loaded so far, this has happened on two, well into the import process.

Thanks so much in advance.

Just updated to the latest version of Audiobook Builder and it now freezes after every 2-3 CDs -- had to pull the plug last time and saw a brief "shared memory cannot be freed" error as it went down. I am also using MacOS, version 10.5.5 on a G4 Mirror Door Mac with 1 Gb RAM.

Will be looking at my Time Machine to recover the previous version if this happens any more... unfortunately it looks like I can't re-download the older version any more from the website.

When Audiobook Builder hangs while importing it's usually an issue with the actual disc, the disc drive or the hard drive where Audiobook Builder stores its imported files. We can help try to figure out what's happening if you'll reproduce the issue - just try importing until a hang occurs - then send us a System Profiler report. You can create this report by launching /Applications/Utilities/System Profiler.app and selecting "Save" from the File menu. Thanks!
