I've been using this software for months. It's a great utility, worth every penny. I've never had any real issues until now.
I take my stacks of mp3s, my cover art, name and author and make the book. 12hour chunks. Great. Pops up in iTunes just like normal.
I sync it to my iPhone. I won't work. It plays for 3-4 seconds, STUTTERS, then freezes for 2-3 sec and stops. Always at the same spot. There are at least a couple other spots where it does the same thing or just locks up the phone for 5-10 sec, then stops trying to play. Other bits play normally.
Here's the kicker. It plays perfectly fine on iTunes. No issues at all.
I'm not quite sure when this problem started, but it isn't unique to one book. Several of my newer additions have this issue. I'm not exactly sure when the problem started because I keep a backlog of books to listen to. If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say it's book since the new iphone/itunes software update, but that would be a guess.
I'm on the phone with apple currently, but I don't expect any help. I have done all the classic things. Reboot phone, re-sync files, full restore on phone, etc.
Please help me listen to my books again!
