Post subject:  ABB created track randomly ends, skipping rest of track.

I'm new to ABB and love it, worth every penny. Only one problem so far. I've created several books and only listened one so far. Occasionally the Audiobook I'm listening to will suddenly end, taking me to the next Audiobook. Its clearly not at the end and so I reselect it to find that my place was not saved. So I scroll to where I was and it happens again, at the same place. So I check the audiobook out in iTunes to see if it happens there. It doesn't, so I sync and afterwards I open the track and it goes right to where I was in iTunes. From there on listening continues interruption free. My father called and said the same happened to him while listening to another ABB joined Audiobook I made.

I'm going throw around some ideas in addition to system info.

I'm using ABB 1.0.8. iTunes 7.6.2 on an iMac G5 (ALS) 2Ghz w/1.5Gb RAM. My iPod is a 5G 30GB Video iPod. My Dad's is a 5G 60GB Video iPod.

-I joined ALL the tracks on these files. I didn't realize until recently that by not joining them I get little chapters just like on Audible tracks. Could this be the issue? If so why does this happen in only one specific place on the audiobook?
-The tracks I join are already AAC 64kbps set to remember playback position. Could it be that if I listened to a track halfway before joining it that this is causing a problem?

Thanks,
Jason

You are reffering to this problem:

be sure to update the ipod to the latest version, some have reported that the problem is less prone to occur with the latest ipod software version.

Okay, so it looks like the problem is not with ABB, but rather with the iPods themselves. It helps if my chapter segments are less than two hours in length. With that proviso I don't think I need to re-rip my books at all. Anyone want to confirm this?
