I have been using ABB for 1 year now and this is the first time I have experienced this. I just ripped from audio CD, two books. Usually when I Build the book w/ ABB, it automagically appears in my Audiobooks folder in iTunes. This time, the books didn't show up. I couldn't drag them there either from the Audiobook Builder playlist where they did appear. I am in the process of converting them to AAC to see if they appear but I currently only see them in my Music folder. Any suggestions?

Audiobook Builder's output can end up in the iTunes Music section if the original Audiobook Builder Project is configured as M4A instead of M4B when the Project is first created. As you create a new Project and you enter a file name for it look down the window at the Format setting. Make sure it's M4B and not M4A. M4B should always end up in the iTunes Audiobooks section but iTunes will treat M4A like a regular audio file and put it into Music.

I didn't do anything different than I have been doing so I don't know how it would have changed. I did end up getting the audio book into the Audiobooks folder by making it Bookmarkable. I'll have to remember to check that setting the next time I rip a book.
