Registered 1.0.8 ABB.
Mac OS 4.11 on Quicksilver 877, 1G memory.
Opened app, read help, used 'add files' to select 20 mp3 downloaded audio book files that made up one book.
Total time 9h, 12m, 7s.
Selected finish.
Nothing happened.
Checked Activity Monitor.
ABB not shown although still open on desktop.
Shows up in AM for a second when project on desktop clicked.
Came here, saw problems with project size larger than 2h 15m, started from scratch for file with final time 1h 55m.
Still nothing.
How do I get this up and running?
Thanks for your help.

Once you click on the 'finish' tab, it will give you a summary of your project so far. You have to click the 'Build Audiobook' button on that tab for Audiobook Builder to finish your book and put it in the desired location.

There is no current issues with projects larger than 2h 15m. The only thing you may run into is books that have parts longer than 2.5 hours may occasionally lose their place on some older ipods. Apple knows of this bug but hasn't committed to a fix. if you have an older ipod and run into this issue, you can set the maximum part length to 2.25 hours in Audiobook Builder's preferences.

Thanks for your prompt reply Randy.
I thought 'Finish' really meant 'Finish', so I didn't focus on the 'Build' tab.
Another question, if I may.
While reading help section, I saw instructions on how to join, or split chapters, and files.
Why, and when, would you use these features?

Thanks again.

If you have more than one file that equals a chapter, you may want to join them together to organize your book better. The 'join' button allow you to group multiple chapters into one, and the 'split' button allows you to break a multiple file chapter back into a chapter per file.

So if chapter 1 was actually 12 different files, with 'join', you can merge those 12 into 1 chapter.
