Hi,
i've bought Audiobook Builder yesterday. It's really awesome, but somehow the encoding speed is rather slow. For example i encoded a Audiobook with 14h and it took about 15-20min. I've got 8 GB Ram and a four cores on a i5 2400k, shouldn't it be much faster? As far as I see, it seems it's using only one core. Has anyone else this "problem"?

Unfortunately, at this time, Audiobook Builder doesn't support multiple core processing. That's something that's towards the top of our feature request list, so we're looking into adding it to a future release of the application.

Everything was going fine until about a week ago. Now encoding is taking much much longer--more than a half an hour for a disk. I have not changed anything. I deleted the program, then reinstalled audiobook builder again. But there is no change. I am back to copying in itunes then dragging the files across. I have a 2.6 GHz core i7 powerbook.

30 minutes per disc is definitely slow! We can definitely help figure out what's going on there, but we'll need to gather some additional information. Would you be willing to import again into Audiobook Builder. Then, if it goes super slow like before, generate a System Profiler report just after and send it over to us at support@splasm.com ?
