Using Audiobook Builder, there are a couple of different options...
Firstly, without some other sound editing software you will be unable to split up your single file audiobook by the Chapters in the book. You can, however, break it up in to Parts of equal length. To do this, pull your file in to the Chapters section of Audiobook Builder. Now, in the Finish section, click on the 'Build Options...' button. For the Part Style, choose 'Equal Length' and drag the Target Length slider to the desired length for each part. Hit OK and then you can Build your Audiobook.
It may not even be necessary to build your audiobook with the above settings if you just want to save your place when listening in iTunes or on your iPod. If you just drag in the file and build with the default settings, the resulting M4B Audiobook file will be Bookmarkable-- which means your place will be saved even though you still end up with one file.
