Is is possible to create chapters within an mp3 file, I have an audiobook that is one mp3 file, and I want to make chapters so that I can easily navigate through the book. I was using another software to make audiobooks before I found audiobook builder.

I would also like to add bookmarks while listening to the audiobook on my ipod. I had an old Rio 500 and I remember that it had a bookmark button where you could actually create your own bookmarks, is this possible on the ipod.

The ipod doesn't really seem like the best piece of hardware for listening to audiobooks, is there another device that is better?

Yes it is possible but not with Audiobook Builder, you can use other applications, or just use Apple's ChapterTool and do it via the command line. Well.. you can take the mp3 files apart in chapters (cut each chapter out and put it in a separate file and put those in Audiobook builder.

No it is not.. you can stop somewhere and the iPod will remember that you stopped there the next time you play that file, but you can not make new bookmarks.
