1.5 Upgrade resulted in not being able to import files from iTunes; I was not able to cancel the action either but had to Force Quit.
A retreat to 1.2.2 allowed the iTunes import to work as it usually does.
OSX version = 10.6.7
BTW - The Chapter Rename feature looks well done; I'm looking forward to using it!

We did find an issue with Audiobook Builder 1.5 when trying to import .m4b files into a project. We've got it fixed and working now at http://www.splasm.com/special/audiobookbuilder/Audiobook%20Builder%201.5.1a1.zip .

Please let us know if you find anything else peculiar about the latest build of Audiobook Builder!
